I have been asked to inform anyone who knew her that Odel, the receptionist from the Fairfield Hotel, passed away peacefully in her sleep last week. She had been suffering from a serious illness for several months so her passing was a mercyful release. Her daughter has asked that the many friends she made while working at the hotel are informed, so please pass this information on to anyone who knew her who is not online.
Blessings
Merlyn

I hope this isn't appropriate to post here, but I just wanted to let DAGDA members know that my father, Dohn Prout, passed away on Saturday 28th April 2007.
Dohn was the site manager at the Rollright Stones and had talked fondly of DAGDA members, who he knew through their involvement with the Stones.
If anyone who knew Dohn is interested in attending his funeral or wake, please see http://www.chippingnorton.net/index2.html for details (when they are arranged).
An artical In the Express and Star 29/11/06
Thanks for all the good times
All the Dagdas hearts go out to his family.
A monumental event took place at the Ancient site of Maumbury Rings Dorchester..
An organized Pagan ritual was publicly held to honour the spirits of our land,
and to pay respects to passed Witches and Druids Pagans and keepers of the old ways ...

In a field in Oxfordshire the second Gathering of the Children of Artemis took place.
The Dagda where there to make sure that things ran smoothly, and smoothly it ran.
On the Friday, the Dagda claimed the gate as their own and then proceeded to care for the gate and make sure that only the right people where aloud past the gate. And past the gate only the right people went.
On the night, festivities were in full swing. As usual the hardy Pagan was to be found partying with The Dagda.
